Thanks to last years Donkey Derby we have
purchased two new heaters, complete with safety guards, for the Scout
Hut – set on timers, we have all enjoyed the benefits of a warm meeting
place during the winter months.
Though we have set aside some funds for repairing
our leaking Scout Hut roof – it is just not going to meet the cost of
the job so some of the money raised at this years Donkey Derby will go
to our scout hut roof fund. |

We currently have 48 members in
the Scout Group. Scouting is open for boys and girls, Beavers aged 6 - 8
years, Cubs aged 8 to 10 ½ years and Scouts 10 ½ to 14 years.
We are desperate for new assistant leaders in the Scout section and
Beaver section. If you were once in the Scout movement or your child has
benefited from scouting, please consider a leadership role in our Scout
Group. Leaders have a lot of fun too – come and join us.
