Pre-School and Creche
|
We are a registered charity, committee
run Preschool that is open everyday in the Village Hall. Our busy sessions
offer a wide range of activities, such as, painting, sewing, craft making,
playing with rice, ice, sand and sawdust, among other things!
The Pre-School is fortunate to have a lovely garden to play in with our fun
outdoor toys and activities. The children also enjoy lunchtime club on
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

At Preschool we promote ‘healthy
eating’ by offering the children a variety of snacks, these include
fruit platters, cheese and crackers, pasta to name but a few. Snack time
is quite a social session and we find the children trying foods they
wouldn’t do at home, just because their friends eat it!
On Fridays we hold a popular Rising 5s day, for those children
approaching school age. The children experience a classroom environment,
where they have fun learning about Science, Maths and English. They are
also taken on Nature Walks and participate in PE sessions, which the
children love. |

We rely on fundraising events to maintain our status and the Donkey
Derby is the main event on our calendar. Last year the funds enabled us
to convert our store room into a bright classroom for one to one busy
bees sessions.

every person who help to make the Donkey Derby such a worthwhile and
enjoyable event. Thank you
