In June 2006 with the
assistance of Emma Lynch, P.O.R.T was officially registered as a
National Charity, based in Essex. Links have
been set up with the Gastroenterology Department at the Royal London and
Great Ormond Street Hospitals, who have formed a medical and research
committee on behalf of the charity.
Our aim is to raise public and professional
awareness into this serious and often fatal illness. With your support
we need to raise a minimum of £50,000 per year to fund this research.
